Intellectual History

I was fortunate to study feminist theory under Marta Vicente. Dr. Vicente is distinguished for her scholarship on historical constructions of gender and sexuality. 

I was fortunate to study feminist theory under Omofolabo Ajayi-Soyinka for my capstone course. Dr. Ajayi-Soyinka is distinguished for her scholarship on critical theory,  African Literature and the performance arts.

I was fortunate to study under and work as a research assistant for Rosemary O'Leary.  Dr. O'Leary is distinguished for her scholarship on dissent in public organizations.

I was fortunate to study under John Nalbandian on public infrastructure and leadership in public administration. Dr. Nalbandian is distinguished for his work on politics and local government administration.

I have been fortunate to study under and work as a graduate assistant to Selina Gallo-Cruz. Dr. Gallo-Cruz is a distinguished social movements scholar.

I have been fortunate to study under Gretchen Purser on ethnography and labor studies. Dr. Purser is a distinguished labor scholar.

I have been fortunate to study under Edwin Ackerman on sociology theory. Dr. Ackerman is distinguished for his comparative- historical scholarship on political identity formation. 

I have been fortunate to study under Azra Hromadzic. Dr. Hromadzic is distinguished for her scholarship on the anthropology of international policy and state-making.
